How to get to Andorra
Andorra has no commercial airport. Most visitors fly to Barcelona or Toulouse and finish by road: about 3 hours from Barcelona, 2.5 from Toulouse.

Andorra sits in the eastern Pyrenees between Spain and France, so most travellers fly into a regional hub and finish by road. Andorra–La Seu d’Urgell handles limited scheduled traffic and suits anyone who wants the shortest last leg into the valleys. Barcelona–El Prat is the largest international gateway nearby, with direct coach links. Toulouse–Blagnac is easy for arrivals from France and much of Europe, with an onward bus or private transfer across the border. Madrid–Barajas is farther out but useful when your best fare lands in the Spanish capital. Smaller airports such as Girona–Costa Brava or Carcassonne can shorten the drive from some starting points. Compare total time, not just distance.

About 200 km and 3 hours by road. Direct coaches leave from the airport and the city centre through the day; a private minibus takes your group from the arrivals hall to the hotel door.

From Toulouse to Andorra
About 180 km and 2.5 hours, often the quickest way in from France and northern Europe. Coaches and private transfers cross into Andorra at Pas de la Casa.

From Madrid to Andorra
Madrid is about 600 km away: not the nearest gateway, but often the best-priced hub for intercontinental tickets. From there, continue by high-speed rail toward the northeast and switch to bus or car, or accept a longer direct coach for the simplicity of a single ticket. Because total time varies sharply by mode, decide based on group stamina, baggage, and whether you want a car at the end.

By train and bus
Trains reach the railheads on either side of the border, Lleida in Spain and L’Hospitalet-près-l’Andorre in France, and a bus covers the final mountain leg. We weigh this against the direct coach, door to door, for your dates.

By car
Driving gives you the freedom to stop where you like and a car for excursions. In winter, carry chains or fit winter tyres (required on the mountain approaches when conditions demand it) and allow extra time on peak-week Saturdays.
